Fireside Chat with Fat Freddy's Drop

Fat Freddy's Drop is a band from New Zealand and they make some wicked tunes... They played just last week here in London Town. As always, I only heard positive comments [I didn't go myself - I had seen them twice here before and I'm completely broke at the moment].

Here's an interview with some tracks from their 3 albums. It was done by the Red Bull Music Academy Radio - Red Bull done some of the sickest events all around the world and the RBMA Radio is a never-ending fountain of knowledge. They cover all sorts of music styles and I'll definitely be posting some other stuff of theirs

And I've just found this video with the main man behind the band: Chris "Mu" Faiumu aka DJ Fitchie [also done by the RBMA Radio].

More on them soon...

Nick Manasseh [short] Live Set

"This live DJ set was recorded at the Reggae Roast Carnival After Party at Big Chill House. Nick Manasseh played a killer 2 hour set, thorwing down various tacks from his collection and dubplates from the Mannaseh studio. This was another great session with unbeatble vibes and pressure from all artists and dancers. The night was hosted by MCs Ramon Judah, Clappers Priest, Tuffy Irie, Ras Chanaya and Ishu."
